Your running data stays on your device. We collect your email if you join the waitlist. That is it.
Who we are
Dagg is made by Vitgranen AB, a company registered in Sweden. If you have questions about this policy or your data, reach us at support@vitgranen.com.
What the website collects
Waitlist emails
When you join the waitlist, we store your email address. We use it only to notify you when Dagg launches. Your email is stored in Supabase (hosted in the EU). You can request deletion at any time by emailing us.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Umami Cloud to understand how people use the site. Both collect anonymized page views. No cookies are set. No personal data is stored.
External services
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when requesting font files. We also load analytics scripts from Umami Cloud (cloud.umami.is) and a JavaScript library from jsdelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net).
What the app collects
Location data
Dagg uses GPS to record your running route, including in the background while a run is active. This data is stored locally on your device. It is never sent to our servers or any third party.
Run data
Distance, duration, pace, and route coordinates are all stored on your device. There is no cloud sync and no server-side storage.
Voice coaching
Dagg provides voice coaching during runs using text-to-speech. All speech is generated on your device using the built-in iOS speech engine. No audio or text is sent to any server.
App updates
Dagg may check for over-the-air updates via Expo's update service. This involves your device contacting Expo's servers, which may receive your IP address and basic device information (platform, app version). No personal data or run data is transmitted.
Analytics
The Dagg app does not include any analytics, crash reporting, or tracking services. No usage data leaves your device.
No accounts, no social
Dagg does not require a login. There are no user accounts, no cloud backup, and no way to share runs. Your data lives and dies on your phone.
Cookies
The Dagg website does not set any cookies. Third-party services loaded on the site (Google Fonts, Vercel Analytics, Umami Cloud) do not set cookies either. For details, see their respective privacy policies linked in the table below.

Your rights
Vitgranen AB is based in Sweden and subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Request portability of your data
For the waitlist, email support@vitgranen.com to request deletion. For the app, delete the app and the data is gone.
Data retention
Waitlist emails are kept until we send the launch notification or until you request removal. After launch notification, emails are deleted within 30 days.
App data persists on your device until you delete individual runs or uninstall the app.
Children
Dagg is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify waitlist subscribers by email.
